Not a Sunny Sunday

The sun is considered a heavenly body. Apparently, we have a day in a week named Sunday. And, we should take into consideration that most Christians and members of other denominations, at that, worship God on a Sunday. In fact, it is believed by many that doing so while being a good Samaritan can lead a believer to heaven, with eternal peace. So we are bound to have a heavenly Sunday. But perhaps, not a sunny Sunday. Dark clouds are looming in the skies above us. Of course, we definitely cannot say that the sun ceased to exist. It is still there. Just being covered by the clouds. Thus, it may not be a sunny Sunday. But, be at peace! It surely has its advantages. You can go out and have your outdoor adventures without having to feel like you are being roasted alive. The Rainy Season

"What day is today?" the teacher asks. "Today is October 16, 2017. It is a cloudy day. The sun is covered by the clouds," answers the students who are able to attend the flag ceremony at such an early 7 o'clock morning of a Monday. This is nothing new, this has been happening in every day of the week, from Monday to Friday, on the same uncovered ground of the school. Students can only be thankful for a cloudy day. At least, they are not going to be exposed once again to the scorching heat of the sun. In fact, the exposure to the excessive heat over the sunny season serves as the punishment of those students who are not able to wake up early and attend the flag raising ceremony. How cruel! But of course, this is one way that schools can think of as to disciplining students to actually wake up early so that they wouldn't miss the ceremony.
